Abstract

     People all around the globe have adopted a specific set of social life style irrespective of their religious affiliations. Every individual is following a specific code of conduct which can be termed as religion. Islam in its universal laws has emphasized on cleanliness and considers it significant and give preference to cleanliness in all matters. Islam has put cleanliness at high ranks in its core principles and even considered it as half of the belief.
    In the current research paper a comparative analysis among Islam and Jainism in context of philosophy of cleanliness is done. The objective of this comparative analysis is to elaborate the extensive and comprehensive guidelines of Islam regarding importance and significance of cleanliness and that no other religion or code of conduct for life is a match. This analysis will emphasize the universality and importance of Islam in context of contemporary practices.
