Due to ongoing globalization and reforms in health professionseducation, the medical and dental institutions world over hasadopted the ‘student centered’ and ‘problem based’ educationalstrategies. In this regard, developing professional and competentteachers and educators for their new roles and responsibilitiesin medical education and allied health sciences education isrequired. This needs effective faculty development programs(Michelle Mclean et al, 2008).
