Abstract

Humanity principle are the core values of International Humanitarian Law. The codified law greatly expresses meaningful protection for the rights of women and children who suffer war hostilities, armed conflicts or other disaster. These groups according to definition of IHL and Municipal laws appear to be vulnerable.  Indeed, there in no denying fact that during such crisis they become the subject of society due to vulnerability. Although in this regard Pakistan’s statutory laws have consolidated with IHL and Refugee Law and the central corpus of the laws have also reflected on 1973 constitution. However, the applicability seems to be difficult due to various challenges. The present article in this context aims to provide a critical evaluation of IHL under Asian values. Also, with the concrete debate, the article attempts to view the generalizability of IHL in the light of current scenarios.
