Journal of Pure and Applied Agriculture (JPAA) (J Pure Appl Agric) is a peer-reviewed journal of Allama Iqbal Open University. It is a biannual (twice a year) journal both in printed and online versions. The journal publishes original research papers and critical reviews on all aspects of agriculture and rural development via agriculture. Acceptance of manuscripts depends on their quality, originality and relevance to the Journal’s scope. The journal is an interdisciplinary publication and welcomes articles from diverse theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches, which engage with and contribute to Agronomy, Crop Physiology, Soil Science, Biotic and Abiotic Stresses, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Tissue Culture, Bioinformatics, Horticulture, Plant Biochemistry, Rural Development via Agriculture, Plant Pathology, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Agriculture Extension, Agriculture Engineering, Plant Pathology,Food Science and Technology, Entomology, Animal Sciences and Veterinary Sciences, Food Safety, Forestry and Forestry Extension, Plant-Soil Relationships, and Medicinal Plants. The coverage of the journal is global in scope and solicits articles based on empirical research in any part of the world that is of relevance and interest to international readers. The papers are sent to reviewers after meeting the acceptable percentage of plagiarism and accepted with at least two positive reports of the reviewers. However, the editor reserves the right to make any necessary changes in the papers or request the author to do so or reject the paper submitted. The acceptance rate is less than 50% in JRDA.
