The rhetoric of Restriction and its impacts on speech in prophetic sayings as treated in “Al Muwatta” by Imam Malik. This research is divided into introduction, preface, explanation of Succinctness literary and rhetorically, the conclusion and the bibliography. It goes without saying that the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), was the most eloquent not only among the Arabs but also in the entire world. No doubt, the fountain of all types of eloquence, rhetoric is Quranic and prophetic eloquence. In the explanation and interpretation of Islamic concepts, issues, the prophet (PBUH) adopted the very effective style to covey the massage to the listener. In this research paper, the meaning and significance of prophetic eloquence has been presented and the use of prophetic Succinctness and their impacts on speech in the noble prophetic traditions/sayings from the given book has been explained with the examples in detail.
