Abstract

Azeez Shahid is the representative of modern Siraiki poetry. He is the son of the soil. He is the son of the legend Siraiki poet Noor Muhammad Sail. Damaan is of his homeland. He loves his native and land also. This land has the specialty of harshness of the seasons. Both summer and winter are unbearable for the people of this land. The flooded rivers have make this land fertile. This fertility is also present in the writings of Azeez Shahid. His poetry is the Bouquet of different flowers. He has presented the life of common people. Their life is too hectic to survive. There poor people even mast have the basic requirements of life even though all such conditions are the fate of common man. Poet is standing with them and encouraging them. He shows the light of bright future through his poetry. Bait, Bailey, Shrines and Mosques are there. He says that we people love with each other without any discrimination. Love is our identity.
