Informal and light-hearted expression on any subject is called “Light Essay”. Muhammad Saleem Malik's collection based on essays was published under the title “Batein humari yad rahein ". This collection includes an intellectual expression of the social situation. Most of the inscriptions are a reflection of the twentieth century when love and sincerity were established in hearts instead of bitterness. Muhammad Saleem Malik's style of writing is simple and smooth; he is familiar with the art of speaking that is why “Batein humari yad rahein " is not only common sense in expression but also adapts to interesting situations from everyday life. Mohammad Saleem Malik's essay collection has the potential to prove its importance in Urdu literature.
