Abstract

This article is an introduction to the ethical and spiritual aliments. Human being is the combination of body and soul. As human body fell ill, likewise, spiritual illness adversely affects the inner soul of the body. To groom our personality and observe best moral values, we not only need to sensitize ourselves of the spiritual aliments but also require treatment in case of suffering from these diseases .Here few of the ethical diseases are narrated. These include detestation and jealousy, proudest, lying, high desire for worldly gains, dissimilation, and rage, backbiting and dividing people. Hatred and resentment means having your feelings against someone in your heart. This hatred of a Muslim for Muslim is disliked if it is for the sake of religion, then it is beloved by the Allah Almighty, arrogance does not beautify man. Lying is moral disease and the root mother of all evils. It is jealousy to see the blessings of others and to wish for the decline of these blessings.  Jealousy cause more damages to jealousies. Those of prefer the love of the world to the love of Allah Almighty can't succeed. The act of showing off is hypocrisy and it is not acceptable to Allah Almighty. Anger damages a person's appearance and inner being. Backbiting and hypocrisy in Islam is extremely unpleasant.
