This study examines the impact of flexible workspaces on employee performance, considering the shifting landscape of work environments. With organizations increasingly adopting flexible arrangements like remote work, coworking spaces, and hot-desking, it becomes crucial to understand their influence on various aspects of employee performance, such as job satisfaction, productivity, collaboration, and overall work experience. Using a mixed-methods approach with a sample size of 93 employees selected through random sampling, this research combines quantitative Likert scale responses and qualitative insights to offer a comprehensive understanding of the implications of flexible workspaces on contemporary work dynamics. Notably, the study reveals a significant association between workplace flexibility and employee performance, with a notable impact of 15.25 times. The findings contribute to ongoing discussions on optimizing work environments to promote employee well-being and enhance organizational effectiveness amidst the evolving professional landscape. This research provides valuable insights for organizations seeking to adapt to changing work paradigms and foster a conducive environment for employee success.
To investigate how implementing flexible workspaces, such as remote work and coworking, influences employee job satisfaction.
A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative (online survey with Likert scale and close-ended questions, N=93) and qualitative (in-depth interviews) techniques. Stratified random sampling was used for participant selection. Data analysis involved statistical analyses for quantitative data and thematic analysis for qualitative data.

The study's findings reinforce the positive impact of flexible workspaces on employee job satisfaction, collaboration, communication, organizational support, adaptability, and overall performance. The results suggest that satisfied employees are more likely to engage in effective communication and collaboration, and that organizations offering flexible workspaces tend to be more adaptable. Contrary to one hypothesis, a significant association was found between collaboration/communication and organizational support/adaptability, highlighting the role of the latter in facilitating effective communication.
