Abstract

First ever indexed scientific medical journal of Pakistan Medical Association is proudly celebrating sixty years of its contribution to the world of medicine. Pakistan Medical Association and JPMA deserve laurels for this achievement which no journal in Pakistan can claim but only few in South Asia.
Our most respected Ex. Editor (Late) Dr. Serwar Jehan Zubairi set the high standard and the high quality of JPMA scientifically.
I feel privilege to be associated with PMA since last more than three decades and knowing this journal. My congratulations to the Editor Dr. Fatima Jawad for managing this prestigious journal on the footsteps and standards laid down since sixty years.
Her team deserves congratulations on their dedicated work. I would like to pray for this journal for providing the scientific and ethical service to the medical profession.
