Abstract

ABSTRACT Twelve different low value wood species grown in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were tested to determine their physico-mechanical properties and evaluate their utilization potential for manufacturing of various wood products. Testing of the standard wood samples prepared from each species was carried as per ISO standards. Results showed that the studied wood species also are used as substitute for the commercial wood species for manufacturing of various wood products.
