Abstract

ABSTRACT Quantitative survey of ten medicinal plants was conducted in Leepa Valley of Jhelum Valley Forest Division in Azad Kashmir, during the year1978-79 to ascertain the productivity of medicinal plants available in the area. It was found that medicinal plants are available not only in considerable quantities for commercial exploitation but also it is imperative to initiate concerted efforts both by government and public to systematically establish cultivation of various medicinal plants.
