Abstract

ABSTRACT Intro: In 1971, a populetum of 49 clones was established over an area of 2.5 hectares in compartment No. 55. One year old plants were planted at 5 x 5 m spacing. Their performance was evaluated in 1981 and the ten clones were found to be the best amongst all clones.
