Abstract

ABSTRACT Intro: Ripe berries of juniper collected in November were de-pulped by rubbing on wire gauze and on cement floor with a piece of brick. The material was then washed under tap to drain off the refuse and pulp. The clean seed was soaked in water for 20 hours arid then subjected to floatation test on water to find out if the filled seed could be separated from the empty. 500 seeds each were taken from the settled and floated seeds of each locality and cut open.
