In today’s highly competitive and progressive business culture the ultimate goal of an organization is to spark the work outcome that leads to optimal productivity level. Curiosity generates an improved learning and develops a cognitive behaviour that is positively associated with work engagement in organizations. This study is an attempt to open the venture to discuss curiosity as work related construct. Moreover, present study is a conceptual work to discuss relevance of multidimensional workplace curiosity with work engagement at job floor. Current discussion is an enlightening insight to visualize the relationship of new dimensions of workplace curiosity (Stress tolerance, deprivation sensitivity, openness to people’s ideas and joyous exploration) with work engagement through mediating role of learning goal orientation.
