Abstract

This econometric study delves into the intricate relationships within the European economic and banking landscape, particularly focusing on the decade spanning from 2009 to 2019. Using a diverse dataset encompassing economic, financial, and digitalization variables, the analysis employs multiple regression techniques to unravel significant correlations between these factors and online purchases. Key findings highlight compelling associations, shedding light on the nuanced connections between variables such as ATM accessibility, commercial bank infrastructure, economic prosperity, and unemployment rates. The identification of Heteroskedasticity prompts considerations for refining the reliability of regression analysis, while the normality test assures that residuals conform to a normal distribution. The study concludes by emphasizing the robustness of the model, marked by low variance inflation factors, reinforcing the reliability of findings.
