Abstract

The competence of an organization to execute not only incremental quality enhancements to the current processes and products but also pioneering or radical improvements that explore new opportunities is referred as ambidexterity. Further the activity of exploring and exploiting things concurrently is termed as ambidexterity. Past studies indicated that balancing both exploration and exploitation brings longterm organizational success. According to the literature and past researches organization learning capacity (OLC) affects both organization ambidexterity (OA) and organization performance (OP). The OLC plays the role of mediator and strengthen the relationship of OA and OP. This study is conducted to examine these variables and to check their relation in the context of Peshawar and in software industry. The data was collected from 4 of the software houses of Peshawar and their result was analysed on SPSS. Through regression analysis the obtained results showed that OA has significant impact on OP, while OLC assist to explicate the outcome of ambidexterity on increasing organization’s efficiency and its performance.||Keywords: Organizations, Performance, Effect, Learning, Software, Peshawar.
