The present study investigates the influence of resonant leadership on employee engagement, considering the mediating role of psychological safety. Leaders high in emotional intelligence or in resonance can establish positive relationships that have been theorized to engage employee efforts most strongly. However, little is known so far about the specific influences of this. Drawing on a sample of 250 employees in various industries, this research uses structural equation modeling to test direct and indirect effects of resonant leadership on engagement. The findings suggest that resonant leadership has direct and indirect influences on employee engagement. This research identifies one such critical mediator: psychological safety. According to these findings, resonant leaders ensure a work environment in which an employee's feelings are safe toward taking risks and expressing themselves without the fear of being viewed negatively. This study deepens the literature on the specification of how resonant leadership influences engagement through the raising of psychological safety and provides practical implications for leadership development and organizational practices aimed at maximizing employee engagement.||Keywords: Resonant Leadership, Employee, Engagement Safety.
